“My approach to art is more sculptural than anything else; I really try to carve the image out of the page. Another very important part of my work is line quality, with every curve of the pencil or brush I demand life in the subject matter.”  Alex doesn’t keep his options limited by only sticking to a couple of genres. “An artist needs to absorb influences from all areas or their creativity ultimately suffers,” he says. Currently, Alex Alderete is making his mark in creating art designs for clothing, snow/skate/surf board companies. His most exciting accomplishment to date? Being featured at the Berlin Fashion Week, last July.
