Lev Yilmaz started the ultra-low tech “Tales Of Mere Existence” film series in 2003, based on gleefully embarrassing thoughts and stories from his own life. Films from the series have shown on Comedy Central, Independent Film Channel, and innumerable shows and festivals since then. Lev has gathered a substantial cult audience on the internet, as the “Tales” series YouTube views have recently passed 27,000,000.
