If you’re a faithful reader of Sliver of Stone, you probably remember the essay titled “All That Glitters,” which appeared in the very first issue (August 2010).
Congratulations to Nicholas Garnett! “All That Glitters” was chosen to be included in the 2010 Best of the Net Anthology. It has been reprinted along with five other essays and showcased this year on the Best of the Net website.
That’s not all. Sliver of Stone is welcoming Nicholas as a Guest Editor for Issue 4 (April 2012).

Nicholas Garnett graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with an M.F.A. in Creative Writing. His work has appeared in the literary journal r.kv.ry, and The Florida Book Review. He is a two-time recipient of first place in the FIU literary award for nonfiction. His memoir, entitled TWISTED STRAIGHT, is currently with an agent being shopped to publishers.
